Low Urpeth Farm is enjoying a golden start to the New Year after clinching top prize in the prestigious North East England Tourism Awards.
Farm Stay member Low Urpeth Farm Bed and Breakfast struck Gold in the Best Bed & Breakfast category and Bronze in the Taste of the England at the glittering ceremony at The Sage Gateshead to clinch a hat-trick of gongs.

DOZENS of the region’s best eateries have been honoured with an award for their quality and good service.
A record-breaking 60 premises in County Durham including restaurants, hotels, farm shops, cafés and bars have received the Taste- Durham quality mark in the third annual awards ceremony held at Ramside Hall Hotel, in Durham City, on Monday of last week.
