self catering near Alnwick Gardens

The wonderful thing about Alnwick gardens is you don't have to be a gardener to enjoy it!!  The Garden has been open since 2002 and we have had regular visitors to Low Urpeth going to visit the gardens, what they have all been thrilled about is the gardens are so easy to get to from Low Urpeth just pop up on the A1 and your there in no time on the map it looks such a long way, but an hour and you are there.

Families we have stayed with us in our cottages love Alnwick Garden as there is so much open space for the children to run about in - the grand cascading water feature with all its little surprises!! is a big hit hit with big and small but take a change of clothes for the little ones as they can't keep away.

Alnwick gardens boast the world's largest tree house which is impressive, but for me it's the poison garden and water feature are a must see nothing better than watching the children run in and out of the water while enjoy a ice cream.

The tea room in the garden is lovely and the shop has lots of nice bits.
